Kingdom Come 2018

Calling the Church in Ireland to... Kingdom Come, Saturday 19th May, 2018 in Belfast & Dublin

We are so excited to host Kingdom Come as the Church across the land gathers to join hearts in prayer & worship, uniting around a hunger for the presence of God in our lives & an in-breaking of God’s kingdom in our land.

’Thy Kingdom Come' is a global prayer movement which the Archbishop of Canterbury is inviting people around the world to join.  He is calling on Christians to pray that people might know Jesus Christ during a focused time between Ascension and Pentecost from 10th May – 20th May 2018, climaxing in lots of ‘beacon events’ around Europe on Pentecost Weekend 2017 (May 18th-20th). You can read much more about it here.

In Ireland we hosting two Kingdom Come events in Belfast and Dublin on Saturday 19th May 2018.

Belfast: May St Church at 8:00pm
Dublin: Dublin Central Mission at 7:30pm

For the Belfast Kingdom Come event we’re delighted to partner with Fabric City Conference, and in Dublin we're delight to partner with the Praxis Movement Conference, as they gather churches across our capital cities to be inspired & empowered towards city transformation and mission. As the conferences culminates that night, they’ll be joining us for Kingdom Come as together we lift one voice in prayer & worship! Check out Fabric Conference here and Praxis Movement here.

For the Dublin Kingdom Come event we’re delighted to partner with Praxis Movement Conference, as they gather churches across the city for 2 days to be inspired & empowered towards city transformation. As the conference culminates that night, they’ll be joining us for Kingdom Come as together we lift one voice in prayer & worship! Check out Fabric Conference here.

Week of 24-7 prayer: In 2017 over 3,000 Prayers Rooms were set up across the world, many of them here in Ireland, as part of this call to pray in the lead up to Pentecost.  We’re inviting as many churches and organisations across Ireland as possible to join us in praying between Ascension Day & Pentecost Sunday, covering different facets of our society in prayer.

We’d love to see Prayer Rooms & gatherings spring up in churches across the map as we pursue His presence in these days! We’ll be sending out a resource for those 10 days soon. In the meantime mark the dates (10-20 May) and consider how your church can join in!
